1. Our commitment

Vue Dating ("Vue", "we", "us", or "our") has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

This page describes our Child Safety Standards for preventing, detecting, and responding to CSAE on the Vue mobile apps (iOS and Android) and related websites. It is published to meet Google Play and platform child-safety requirements.

2. Adults only (18+)

Vue is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Vue. We do not knowingly allow users under 18.

If we learn that a user is under 18, we will remove the account and related personal data as soon as reasonably possible, subject to any legal retention obligations related to safety investigations.

If you believe a minor is using Vue, report it immediately using the in-app report tools or email safety@vue.app.

3. Prohibited CSAE content & conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Vue:

  • Any sexual content involving anyone 17 or under — real, depicted, AI-generated, drawn, or otherwise
  • Grooming, solicitation, or sexual exploitation of minors
  • Sharing, requesting, or distributing CSAM / CSAE material
  • Creating profiles that impersonate minors or seek contact with minors
  • Links, ads, or messages that facilitate CSAE or CSAM

Violations may result in immediate account termination, content removal, and referral to law enforcement or child-protection organizations where required or appropriate.

4. Standards & prevention

We work to prevent CSAE through:

  • 18+ age eligibility requirements at signup
  • Community guidelines and Terms of Use enforcement
  • In-app block and report tools for users
  • Human review of safety reports by our moderation team
  • Account suspension or permanent bans for confirmed violations
  • Cooperation with lawful requests from authorities regarding child safety

5. How to report CSAE

If you encounter suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or a minor on Vue:

  • In the app:Use Report on the user's profile or conversation and select the relevant safety reason. You may also Block the user.
  • By email: safety@vue.app (preferred for CSAE) or support@vue.app

Please include: the username/profile link if available, approximate date/time, screenshots or description of the content/conduct, and your contact email. Do not forward illegal images of minors by email if local law prohibits it — describe the content and point us to the in-app location instead.

6. How we respond

When we receive a CSAE / child-safety report, we aim to:

  • Prioritize the report ahead of ordinary support tickets
  • Review the reported account, content, and related activity
  • Remove violating content and restrict or terminate accounts
  • Preserve relevant records as needed for investigations and legal compliance
  • Report to appropriate authorities or child-protection organizations when required by law or when we believe a child may be at risk

Response times depend on severity and available information. Confirmed CSAE violations are treated as emergencies.

7. Enforcement & cooperation

We may suspend or permanently ban accounts involved in CSAE, remove content, and deny re-registration. We may also share information with law enforcement, regulators, or designated child-protection agencies when legally required or when necessary to protect children.

Users who attempt to circumvent bans related to child-safety violations may be permanently excluded from Vue.

9. Updates to these standards

We may update these Child Safety / CSAE standards from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of Vue after an update means you accept the revised standards as part of our safety rules.
